Texas Gun laws, good for PA?

The NRA zeroes in on its top priority for 2015: Passing a bill in the US Congress that would force Pennsylvania to accept any other state’s gun-huggers, their guns, and their gun laws!  Reciprocity. Read S498 Constitutional Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2015.

Call PaSen. Casey now and tell him you don’t want the gun lobby’s TxSen. Cornyn to impose weak safety standards on Pennsylvania:

This NRA-sponsored “race to the bottom” would undermine the carefully constructed public safety laws that many states like Pennsylvania already have on the books and put our communities in danger.
The good news is that Senator Bob Casey from Pennsylvania could cast a decisive vote to stop this bill — but he needs friendly encouragement from constituents like you.  Make a call now and ask Sen. Casey to vote NO on the NRA’s federal concealed carry bill. Make sure to thank the senator for voting against this dangerous proposal in the past.

You Make the Call    CallCasey

The NRA’s vision for America is one with guns for anyone, anywhere — and this bill represents an enormous, disastrous step towards making that vision a reality.

You and I know that with rights come responsibilities. There are basic standards that should be met before a person is allowed to carry a concealed, loaded gun in public, including safety training and a clean criminal history. But not every state meets those basic standards — and this bill would force Pennsylvania to abide by the weakest standards.

We need as many people as possible to speak up and let our senators know where we stand. Thanks for calling.
